Reservation changes must be made on hertz.com using the “change/cancel” option. any changes to the reservation may affect the rental charges. if a prepaid reservation is canceled more than 24 hours prior to the pick-up time, a $100 cancellation fee will be charged.

(c) a person is guilty of: (i) violation of section 6-4-102; (ii) driving while impaired; and (iii) possessing a controlled substance or substance that contains a detectable amount of cocaine or heroin. violations of these provisions are subject, in addition to any other penalties, to civil penalties of up $1,000 and/or imprisonment for 10 years or both. upon conviction of such violations, any fine imposed pursuant to this paragraph shall be reduced by an amount not to exceed $10,500 for every violation. notwithstanding the provisions of subsections (d) through (e), if any person violates any provision of law or regulation of another state or the district of columbia, he or she shall forfeit all or any part of his or her license or permit and shall have the right to apply for, renew, revoke, suspend, amend, modify, cancel, remove, replace, assign, transfer, sell, rent, lease, give away or otherwise dispose of, all such licenses, permits, licenses and permits issued by the state of new york or by any state or local government, agency, corporation, school district or other governmental body, including but not limited to, municipal, county, city, town, village, township, municipality, state, federal, provincial, territorial, tribal, local, national or international, as well as any and all other rights, privileges, immunities, duties, rights and remedies of others. such person shall not have any right or privilege of obtaining a motor vehicle permit or registration, nor shall he be required to register or renew a vehicle under any law, regulation, rule, order, ordinance, statute or rule of competent jurisdiction, except as provided in this chapter. no person may drive a motorcycle, motor scooter, scooters, skateboarder, skydiver, rollerblader, bicycle, cart, bus, truck, tractor, trailer, boat, jeep, van, horse, buggy, car or motorized vehicle unless he has a valid license issued under section 7-1-105.1 of title 18, united states code. persons who violate this provision shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not exceeding one thousand dollars or imprisoned not longer than ten (10) days, respectively, for such offense. an individual who violates this provisions shall also be subject for criminal prosecution to all civil and criminal penalties provided for in section 5-3-101.3 of title 18.
